Reasons to book a Boudoir session:

Okay, we all can guess many reasons to book a Boudoir session, but there’s a deeper reason than you would think. Most would say, it would be to wear beautiful lingerie we never would actually buy ourselves and to look sexy.

While that is partially true, it’s more in depth than that.  There is something special about a boudoir session. Something unexplainable — and only one can understand if they experienced it themselves.

While it is most definitely fun to dress up and be pampered for the day, there are many reasons to book a boudoir session, but I’ll start with the top 3 reasons.

Reason to book a Boudoir session #1:

To get your flare back– you know what I’m talking about.  The sexy, sassy self you once were before you settled down and created a family.  To some, once motherhood hits, you completely change. Your whole world revolves around your children that you are teaching to be a part of something big one day. Teaching them to chase their dreams, never settle for less, and then your realize how much time has passed and you feel different. The spunk is gone. The drive is gone.  Your body has changed, your relationship has changed and you’d give anything to have that little spark back in your life.   Well, a boudoir session can help give you that boost you need. That charge to re-ignite the fire inside of you. It never left, it just needs a chance to come out.  I promise you, after a boudoir session (with the right professional guidance), you won’t even be able to recognize yourself. You will leave with a sense of pride and confidence you didn’t think you still had.  Your partner will notice a difference, your children will notice, and you will have a little added pep in your step throughout the day.  It also helps to have those beautiful images to look at over and over and if you’re brave enough, to even have hanging on your wall as a gentle reminder that you are bad ass. No matter what the world throws at you, you can conquer it.  And hey, if you need a confidence boost each year or so, do it. Because us Mama’s need “me time” too.  We need to learn to love our bodies and what it has done for us.  There are several ways to learn to love our bodies.  It begins with being more kind to ourselves and learning acceptance.  If you start out hating your body, you will always find something to continue with the hate.   A Boudoir session is a great way to let go of those negative thoughts and to accept our body for what it is, a beautiful, unique capsule that deserves to be loved.

Reason to book a Boudoir session #2:

Celebrating a milestone.  There are so many milestones in each person’s life but some may be more of importance, such as hitting a new decade (30 years, 40 years, 50 years, heck, even 70 years!), leaving a toxic relationship/divorce, re-discovering one’s femininity, celebrating an anniversary,  weight loss journey, starting over fresh, or even just a wanted confidence boost. Boudoir is empowering and changes women’s lives in more ways than you think.  And watch out, because they are addicting — just ask any of my previous clients who are already booking their next shoot at their viewing appointment. LOL. Each part of a woman’s life means something to them.  I have heard all different reasons for booking a boudoir session with me, but that’s why I love what I do. Each session is catered to each individual and what they are looking to get out of the session.  Anniversary gift? I’ll incorporate some of the partner’s clothing or something they tell me he loves.  Turning 50 like this hot mama in this image?  Let’s celebrate!!  Leaving the toxic relationship? Let’s show them what they’re missing!  Girl, I got you.  There are numerous reasons why you should celebrate yourself everyday.

Reason to book a Boudoir session #3:

Because you know you want to! You wouldn’t have looked it up if you weren’t interested.  A boudoir session is seriously on every woman’s bucket list, but they will make excuses as to why they won’t book one.

• “I’m too overweight”
• “I’m too old”
• “I can’t look sexy”
• “What would my family think?”
• “I don’t have the time”
• “They’re too expensive”
• “I don’t know how to pose”

Let me tell you, each and every woman is beautiful no matter what shape, size, race, color, sexuality, or religion.  It is my job to help you find that beauty that everyone else sees.   I have lingerie pieces sizes XS-4X, I pose you based off of your most favorite features of yourself.  No one is “too old” for beautiful images of themselves. Why don’t grandmother’s deserve it too?  You can look sexy as I will guide you every step of the way from pointing your toes to assisting with facial expression techniques.  Your family doesn’t have to know you booked this session as it is completely confidential and I’d never show images without permission.  You do have the time to schedule a session, it’s just not a priority in your life at the moment and that’s ok. But if it’s never scheduled, it’ll never happen.  As for price, it is an investment as this is a luxury experience, that comes with a luxury price tag.
