If you’re ready to showcase your inner bad ass, then buckle up because we’re about to embark on a side-splitting journey through the art of boudoir selfies!
First tip: When it comes to taking your own boudoir selfies with your phone, I recommend recording a video of yourself, move slowly between poses, then screenshot the poses that you love.
Location, Location, Location!
Finding the perfect spot for your boudoir selfies is crucial. If you’re running around in your birthday suit, make sure it’s not at the local park. Find a place where you’ll feel comfortable being exposed and vulnerable. But with this one, if you’re thinking of doing an Outdoor Boudoir session, fill up a baby pool and place some real flowers around. Fake ones will not work the same. Get that hair wet and work the camera girl!
Light Up Your Life (and Your Selfies)
Lighting is key when it comes to your boudoir selfies. Play around with it. Natural window light is best so work your angles. Try sitting in a chair next to a window. The rest of the lights are off in the room. Turn down your exposure on your phone and snap away! Be brave and daring and do this in the nude, or put on a beautiful matching bra and panty set. For this pose, wear what you’d like but I suggest nothing (it’s so much easier in the privacy of your own home, right?) But these types of boudoir selfies will help you gain the confidence to book the real deal! Lay on your side across the bed. Your leg on top will come all the way over in the front to where your knee touches the bed. Trail the rest of the sheet between your legs and behind you, leaving just a small amount to cover the front of you. Show off those curves your Mama gave you! Toss that hair and use your other hand to hold your head up.
Use Props and Get Creative with your Boudoir Selfies
Let’s face it; no boudoir selfie is complete without props. Go on a hunt around your house for something you can use. Find a rope, ribbon, or a string of pearls. You can use pearls in so many ways. These will be sexy, yet Classy Boudoir images. Wear some cute bottoms and use the string of pearls to form some type of handcuffs. Let me show you what I mean!
Give the Camera Some Love
