10 Boudoir Photos that Keep It Classy
Why do I need to write this article? Because Boudoir seems to get a bad rep at times and I’m here to say that Boudoir images can be classy as well. This goes back to the meaning of what Boudoir Photography actually symbolizes. It’s not just women in sexy lingerie flaunting their bodies like most people think. That’s only partly true because most Boudoir sessions are booked as a celebration of something or to have a deeper purpose. Most women’s reasonings for celebrating a milestone with a Boudoir Session would be things like an anniversary gift to their significant other, a birthday surprise, or because they have worked hard on their weight loss journey or want to learn to accept their body in the now. We are our own worst critics when it comes to our bodies and we need to be much kinder to ourselves. Look around…do you see anyone around with a “perfect” body? No. And that’s because there is no definition of perfect. To me, my husbands body is perfect. But to him, he would think otherwise. It all has to do with perspective. We see our bodies from different angles and lighting and see our flaws. There is so much beauty to our bodies that we don’t even realize. This is why Boudoir photography is becoming such an important step nowadays with helping women find themselves and truly love themselves for who they are and to love the skin they’re in. Boudoir photos can be kept classy in so many ways. You can wear a beautiful dress, use feminine accessories like pearls, add jewelry, or wear something that makes you feel more comfortable like a robe or sweater. The possibilities are endless. Here are 10 Boudoir photos that keep it classy. Take notes, because I’m sure you will find one that you love and will want to re-create!
